The Earthís Prayer By Mary De la Valdeeze
Which art our mother
Hallowed be thy name
Grant us enlightenment, to heal
Give us this day, of thy
Deliver us past evils, as we
Endeavor to be worthy of thee.
Teach us thy wisdom and
Deliver is from blind ignorance,
For thou art the first and the
Last, and the Greatest of
Forever and Ever.
So be it.
The Magick Circle By Grina Dunwich
Circle of Starlight, Circle of Fire,
Filled with Enchantments, bright with
Turning, turning beginning to end
And to begin again and again
Circle of Wisdom, Circle of Love,
Silver with moonbeams, bright from
Circle of Death, Circle of Rebirth,
Circle of the Mother Earth.
Forever and Ever.
Weaving the threads of the midnight hour
Weaving the web,
Of Goddess Power!
We are the Flow
We are the Ebb
We are the Weaver
We are the web
We are the weaver
We are the web
We are the Spider
We are the thread
We are the Spider
We are the thread
We are the Witches back from
Back from the Dead!
The Gatekeeperís Psalm
I am the gatekeeper, guardian of the path of the way. And teacher of the ancient wisdoms. Do not search for me in the light, for ye will not find me there; search for in the shadows, for this is my domain. In your search, be wary of your own perception of reality, for that which ye perceive may blind your eye to my reality, my reality is where ye must walk in ye seek to find me. Doubt ye not that I am here, come forward with open faith and trust in your heart and ye shall find me but know ye that he comes to me with deception in his heart shall find that deception shall become his destruction. Pass between the worlds, all ye who are of faith, and fear not, walk in faith.
Know ye that I am not of the darkness, but only of the shadows, yet those who fear the darkness shall call me as Lord of the evil; those who fear the truth call me the leader of the damned. I am all of these and none of these, for within all I am naught but the bearer of the ancient wisdoms, and those who seek to keel others from that knowledge shall call me which may persuade the seeker to turn away his eyes know ye that to find me, ye must be willing to walk in the shadows, and to leave the world, which is light and dark, good and evil; to come to know another dimension. There are many who fear this place, and the world of shadows; fear ye not, for this is my realm and domain. And so shall also become into thee.
If ye shall say me nay and deny the truths that I bring to ye, know that I will understand and accept your denials, know ye also that the day shall come that ye shall see the way to take up that truth as your own, then too, ye shall come forth and call me teacher, and by your words I will be honored and vindicated.
The ancient wisdoms are of greater power. Now is the time to seek them out, ask ye not for them only when ye are best with dire circumstances, for then the time is too far gone for the wisdoms to serve you; the wisdoms grant ye power now for this time, as well as, to set the future path.
Now the time heralds and draws near, sleep ye not in innocence; come ye to the shadows and seek the wisdoms now, that when the time comes that the fires burn, so ye shall be ready to stand as warrior.
I am the gatekeeper and guardian of the ancient wisdoms, this is my psalm. I have offered ye my greatest gift. Call me not in condemnation if ye shall choose to deny my gift now, then when the time comes that the heat of the fire shall bid ye choose; ye shall seek for me, but I shall be gone. Heed my words, come to me and listen.
The time has come
When day and night are in
From this point forward the cycle,
Night will dominion over day.
The Sun God
Within the sacred garden
His essence had brought
Forth the energies of light and warmth.
Through the Great Mother
Manifests the life within,
Bringing the fruits of
The sprouts of inner growth,
And the flowers of love and joy.
Without the Motherís fertile
No fruits would ripen,
No sprouts would grow,
Nor would the beautiful
Without the God,
The land would be cold and barren.
And the precious herbs
Yet each day His power
Bringing coldness to the land.
As His light diminishes,
Making the planets wither
It is He who teaches me
That all life must die before it
Can be renewed.
The Wiccan Rede
Bide the Wiccan laws we must
In perfect love and perfect trust
Live and let live,
Fairly take and fairly give.
Cast the circle thrice about
To keep the evil spirits out.
Forbid the spell every time.
Let the spell be spark in rhyme.
Soft of eye and light of touch,
Speak little, listen much.
Deosil go by the waxing moon,
Chanting out the Witches Rune.
Widdershins go by the waning moon,
Chanting out the baneful rune.
When the ladyís moon is new,
Kiss the hand to her, times two.
When the moon rides at her peak
Then your heartís desire seeks.
Heed the North Windís might gals,
Lock the door and drop the sail.
When the wind comes from the South,
Love will kiss thee on the mouth.
When the wind blows from the West,
Departed souls will have no rest.
When the wind blows from the East,
Expect the new and set the feast.
Nine woods in the cauldron go,
Burn them fast and burn them slow.
Elder be the Ladyís tree,
Burn it not or curse youíll be.
When the wheel begins to turn,
Let the Beltane Fires burn.
When the wheel has not turned to rule
Light the log and the Horned one rules.
Heed ye Flower, brush and tree,
By the Lady, Blessed Be.
Where the rippling waters go,
Cast a stone and truth youíll know.
When the have a true need,
Hearken not to otherís greed.
With a fool no season spend,
Lest ye be counted as his friend.
Merry meet and merry part,
Bright the cheeks and warm the heart.
Mind the three fold law ye should,
Three times bad and three times good,
When misfortune is anew,
Wear the blue star on thy brow.
True, in love, ever be.
Lest they loverís false to thee.

Bedtime Prayers 1994 By Kitty Degler
Now I lay me down to sleep
Through the twilight, and dark so deep
Earth and Water, Fire and Air
Stay with me while Momís not there.
Elements guide me through the night
And leave with thanks at morningís light.
Another Bedtime Prayer By Kitty Degler 1994
Now I lay me down to rest.
I pray that all the world be blessed.
Lady moon and Sister star
Watch over me from a far.
Mother Earth is always there
And keeps me safe within her care
The Lord of Dreams, will dance and sing
And happy dreams will to me bring
And when I wake to greet the day
Brother sun will light my way.
Bedtime Prayer from Scott Cunninghamís ďWicca: A Guide for the Solitary PractitionerĒ
Gracious Goddess, Gracious God
I now enter the realm of dreams
Weave now if you, a web of protective light
Guard both my sleeping form and spirit.
Protect me until the sun once again rules
Oh gracious goddess, oh gracious god:
Be with me through the night
Blessed Be! In light and love.
The Dedication of a Winter Rose
Oh Great Spirits,
I feel you all in everything I do
To the great Earth Mother,
Hard and strong beneath my soft feet;
Your trees of strength standís so noble,
Becoming my strength as well.
Oh, Great Winds, blowing in all directions,
Carrying my thoughts and feelings among the clouds.
From you I learn among the clouds
From you I learn to be swift,
And to look among the winds for my ideas
For that is where they will be waiting.
Oh, Great Waters,
Bringing peace unto my crazy thoughts
From you I learn serenity and my patience.
For you are so very peaceful,
Yet ripple when the stone is cast upon your body of rest.
Oh, Great Fire, coursing trough my veins,
Bringing forth passion
From you I learn steadfastness.
No matter how much they try o put me down
I rise higher and higher.
My Lord and Lady,
From you I learn all at once
Love, peace, serenity, caring, sharing,
And so much more.
All these tools of your trade
Are for me and all to learn.
You are my creator and my passion.
You burn within me, and piece my very being.
I am your child,
So mote it be!
The Law of the Power By Unknown
1. The power shall not be used to bring harm to injure or control others. But if the need arises, the power shall be used to protect your life or the lives of others.
2. The power is used only as the need dictates.
3. The power can be used for your own gain, as long as doing so you harm none.
4. It is unwise to accept money for use of the power, for it quickly controls its taker. Be not those as other religions.
5. Use not the power for prideful gain, for such cheapens the mysteries of Celt and magick.
6. Ever remember that the power is the sacred gift of the Great Spirit and should never be misused or abused.
7. And this is the law of the power.
