Dragon Ball Z Movies

(Movie 1)
Dead Zone
An evil little Namek, Garlic Jr., is gathering all of the Dragon Balls together to wish for immortality. Since young Gohan has the #4 Ball sewn to his cap, Garlic’s minions kidnap Gohan. This causes Goku to seek out Garlic (whose mansion is located on a black island to the south of Kame House). Garlic also wants to get rid of Kami, so his minions attempt to kill Piccolo (if Piccolo dies, Kami also dies, and vice versa.) So Kami and Piccolo join in the battle, as does Krillin. The minions are wasted, but Garlic Jr. already made his wish, so he is unkillable. Garlic and Kami fight it out, and Garlic wins (he wants to get rid of Kami to make way for his own "reign of blood", but he doesn't kill Kami right away).
Garlic Jr. gets beaten up a bit by Goku and Piccolo, so he decides to create a "Dead Zone" (a black hole), which threatens to suck everyone in and kill them. But Gohan (who had eaten a hallucinogenic apple, and is still feeling a bit of a buzz) gets angry, and blasts Garlic into the Dead Zone. The Dead Zone closes, sticking Garlic into a form of eternal hell.

Goku learns what happened to Roshi and goes to the lab, where he destroys all three androids. Gohan and Krillin also arrive, and end up battling the brain-controlled Piccolo until Gohan's shout of frustration causes the mind-control bands to shatter. Dr.Wheel decides to fight Goku, and as he pulls his robot body free of the wall. The resulting destruction hurls Kouchin down an energy shaft, and Kouchin's outer coating melts before his own robot body is destroyed.
Wheel fights the heroes, and looks like he'll win, when Goku creates a Spirit Bomb and throws it at Wheel. Wheel flies up into space to get a breather, and he is destroyed up there.

King Kai alerts Goku to the danger, and everyone (Chi Chi prevents Gohan from joining in, but Haiyaa Dragon kidnaps the boy to take him to the battle) goes to fight Turles. Piccolo joins in to save Gohan, but the demon still plans on killing Goku later on. Goku denies his Saiyan heritage, claiming that he's happy to have been hit on the head as a child, rather than growing up to be like Turles. There's a major battle, and Goku uses a Spirit Bomb to kill Turles and destroy the tree. A weather satellite is launched to cause a cloud to cover the planet, and freeze it over. Earth is now more hospitable for the soldiers living in the ship, and they step outside to terrorize the Earthlings. Slag recognizes the Dragon Ball that is sewn into Gohan's cap, and reads Bulma's mind to learn about the Dragon Radar. The Dragon Balls are rounded up, and Slug wishes for his youth back.
Goku and Krillin receive Senzu Beans from Yajirobe, and they go to fight Slug. Piccolo shows up to save Gohan. Slug reveals himself to be a Super Namek. Goku wastes Slug's minions, and even turns into a Super Saiyan for a while, but is trashed by Slug when the Super Namek turns into a giant. Piccolo tears off his own ears, then yells for Gohan to whistle again; we now learn that Nameks get hurt really bad when Earthlings whistle. Slug drops to his knees, and Piccolo imparts his energy to Goku. The Goku/Piccolo fusion beats up Slug, then Goku flies above the black cloud to get enough energy to create a Spirit Bomb that kills Slug.(Slug accidentally trashed his own spaceship, so there's no bad guys left now.) The cloud dissipates, and Yajirobe reappears to give Senzu Beans to the heroes. Piccolo's ears grow back. King Vegeta had ordered Brolly (baby Brolly had already been determined to be a threat to the Saiyan) and Paragas to be killed and dumped in the trash. But, baby Brolly's power saved them. Brolly grew up to be a maniacal killer, and had poked out one of Paragas's eyes. Right after that, Paragas had a head band created that effectively lobotomized Brolly.

Ginga Girigiri!! Butchi-giri no Sugoi Yatsu:The Strongest Guy in the Universe!!
The Money Family is hosting a Martial Arts World Tournament as a birthday present for 10-year old Dollar Money. Dollar is hoping for aliens to come from space and join in the tournament, so four of Mr. Satan's pro-wrestling students are in costume as the "aliens" in the final rounds of the competition. King Kai and Goku are on Kai planet (Kai is watching the game on TV, Goku is playing Go Fish against Bubbles the ape -- the deck has Uranai Baba and Pilaf's crew on the face cards)The elimination rounds are basically 8 batches of free-for-alls; the last person standing in each free-for-all goes on to a one-on-one round. The final four each get a shot into one of four "Battle Stages" to face Satan's "aliens." The first person to emerge from the Battle Stage wins the 100,000,000 zenni prize money, a trip to a hot spa, and a chance to fight Satan. Krillin, Future Trunks, teenaged Gohan, and Dosukoi make it to the Battle Zones, where they are attacked by real aliens (Satan's students have already been killed)King Kai realizes that the aliens are Bojack's team. A LONG time ago, the four Kai's had battled Bojack, and imprisoned him far, far away. Bojack has escaped, and come to Earth to destroy it and kill Gohan as revenge on King Kai's, knowing that Goku is Kai's student, Gohan is Goku's kid, and Earth is Goku's planet. There is a lot of fighting as all of the Z Fighters show up to attack Bojack's 5-man team. Eventually, the heroes are trashed, and Bojack is about to crush Gohan's throat. Goku can't take it any more, and the dead hero teleports in from heaven just long enough to kick Bojack in the face and save Gohan. With renewed anger, Gohan goes to Super Saiyan 2 (SSJ2), and kills Bojack's remaining minions before killing Bojack.
Satan had been trying to escape since seeing that the Z Fighters had entered the tournament, but was pushed into a sled and sent to the Battle Zone, where he succeeded in destroying the camera televising the fight with Bojack. At the end of the movie, Satan is again declared savior of Earth, and no one wins the prize money. (Gohan, Trunks and Krillin are recovering in a hospital for some reason, while Piccolo and Vegeta are already fully healed. This movie has lots of continuity flaws and plot holes. Definitely doesn't fit in with the manga or TV series.

Kikenna Futari! Suupaa Senshi wa Nemurenai:
The Dangerous Pair! The Super Fighters Cannot Sleep
Goten, Trunks and Videl are out gathering up the Dragon Balls (just for the heck of it. When asked, Trunks decides that he wants to ride cool things to have adventures (pirate ship, train), while Goten wants to eat delicious cake whenever he wants) and succeed in grabbing the 5th one. When they zip off to find the sixth one, they come upon a village terrorized by a monster dragon. The last girl in the village is about to be sacrificed to appease the monster, when Vital volunteers to take her place. Goten, Trunks, and Vidal hide next to the supper set out for the monster, surprise it, and kill it (after much screwing around). In return, Trunks receives the Dragon Ball attached to the village Shaman's necklace.
Meanwhile, a Saiyan space capsule crashes to Earth nearby, and the sleeping Saiyan inside is aroused by vibrations caused by Goten when the boy wanted to eat the banquet set out for the monster. The Saiyan turns out to be Brolly. When Brolly stretches his muscles the next day, Videl senses it, and goes to investigate. As do Goten and Trunks. Brolly thinks that Goten is Kakarot, and there is much fighting. The final Dragon Ball is located during the battle, but Goten doesn't know how to summon Shenron, so Trunks gets trashed while trying to distract Brolly (Trunks also has to take a piss after hiding next to a bunch of waterfalls, and relieves himself on top of Brolly's head). Gohan senses Brolly's ki, and arrives to join in the battle. Gohan's blast causes lava to boil up, and Brolly is trapped in the magma. Gohan passes out as the magma inches near him. (Krillin is dressed up like Piccolo as a joke when he saves Gohan)But Brolly is a Super Saiyan, and the magma doesn't phase him. Gohan and Goten use Kamahameha on Brolly. (And, probably because of the Dragon Balls nearby, Goku is allowed to show up to perform Kamehameha as part of the trio) Trunks manages to throw an energy ball that distracts Brolly, and the triple Kamehameha blows Brolly into space, and into the sun. Videl recovers, and thinks that Gohan was masquerading as Brolly, and attacks him. Goten and Trunks go back to the village to get food, and Krillin wonders why everyone has forgotten about him. (The Dragon Balls disperse as if Shenron has fulfilled a wish)

Suupaa Senshi Gekiha!! Katsu no Ore da:
Super Fighter Shootout!! I'm the One Who Will Win
#18 has gone to Mr. Satan's house to collect on the 20 million zenni prize money from the Martial Arts that she let Satan win. Satan claims that the money hasn't been turned over to him yet. Then, a minion of a guy who was a classmate of Satan's, arrives to blackmail Satan into going with him to fight some bio-tech warriors. The minion, Menmen, threatens to tell the papers that Satan was a bed wetter in 6th Grade. Satan caves in, and #18 goes along to keep Satan from running away. Goten and Trunks hide in the back of the car to try to fight these "bio-tech thingies", and Krillin is forced to take his daughter back to Kame House.Baron Jagaa Badda has created some pro-wrestler-strength warriors, and he wants them to fight Satan, just to put Satan back in his place. Satan pretends that #18 and the two boys are his students, and they easily destroy the bio-tech baddies. However, Goten recognizes the guy standing beside Jagaa as being the Shaman from the forest village in the last movie. Turns out that the Shaman collected some of Brolly’s blood at the battle site, and sold it to Jagaa. Jagaa had his scientists use the blood to create the "Ultimate Bio-tech Warrior." Trunks and Goten try to use Kamehameha on Brolly’s container before Brolly can awaken, but it is too late. However, the process isn't complete, and Brolly is badly misformed. There is much fighting, the chemicals used in the bio-tech process get loose and eat up all living things, and Brolly trashes Goten, Trunks, and #18. Krillin arrives to protect his wife, and also gets trashed.
Finally, the heroes rescue the scientists, and all of the people living on Jagaa's island escape onto ocean liners. The bio-tech chemicals try to eat Brolly, and are instead turned into an energy source for him. Ultimately, Goten discovers that the chemicals lose potency in sea water (or any liquid with salt, such as pee), so Krillin, Goten, and Trunks use Kamehameha to create a tidal wave that cleanses the island. Brolly keeps trying to kill Goten, but is now vulnerable to Goten's and Trunk's energy blast. Brolly dies, and Mr. Satan tries to swim back home, rather than accepting #18's offer of saving him for a total of 1 Billion zenni.
Characters

Baron Jagaa Badda -- Short, fat, prissy former classmate of Mr. Satan's. Has lots of money, and is making bio-tech fighters because he can. Doesn't die, but his island does receive much costly damage.
Menmen -- Jagaa's tall, blond-haired minion. Is actually very inept but pretends to arrogance.
Kitou-shi -- The Shaman is back, trying to make lots of money by selling Brolly’s blood to Jagaa. Dies when the bio-tech chemicals eat him as he is trying to steal cash from Jagaa's office.
Dr. Korii -- The grey-haired scientist creating Jagaa's bio-tech fighters.
Nine -- Korii's chief assistant.
Hei -- Jagaa's bio-tech wolf-dog. Eaten by the bio-tech chemicals.
Brolly -- A misformed bio-tech nightmare. Maybe stronger than the original. Remembers when Trunks had taunted him in the last movie. Destroyed by seawater, Goten , Krillin, and Trunks.

(Movie 12)(03/??/95)
Fukkatsu no Fushion! Goku to Vegeta (or) The Fusion of Revival! Goku and Vegeta (or)Strongest Fusion
We are back in heaven, during the Budoukai held by Grand Kai to determine who the greatest dead heroic fighter is. The four Kai's quarrel over who has the best student, and the final round is about to start, between North Kai's Son Goku, and West Kai’s Pikkon. Both fighters want to win cleanly, and they begin sparring. Meanwhile, Enma Daioh (Heaven's Gatekeeper) is being harsher than normal, sending many, many souls to hell for one reason or another (the ones going to heaven get to ride Ten Airlines, while the ones going to Hell get to pass through a "Spritz Cleaner" machine that removes all the evil from them. Once cleansed, the evil souls have their memories removed, and are reincarnated to try again). Psych Oni, the demon tending the Spritz Cleaner, is too busy dancing to his walkman tape to notice that the Cleaner is running in the red. The Cleaner regulator explodes, and all of the concentrated evil escapes. Psych Oni tries to contain the mess before tearfully reporting to Enma Daioh. At this point, the concentrated evil covering Psych takes effect, turning the boy into a giant yellow squeeze toy named Janenba. Janenba immediately encases Enma's Gate House in a magic crystal, and it then amuses itself by twisting the fabric of With Enma trapped, the dead residing in Hell can escape and roam around on Earth. Gohan and Vidal set out to combat the dead, while Goten and Trunks search for the Dragon Balls to set everything right again. Gohan gets to confront Frieza again, and very quickly destroys the monster. All of the other supporting villains from the previous DBZ movies also surface, only to be dispatched by the Great Saiyaman team. Shenron is summoned, but the Dragon God has to admit that it has no jurisdiction over the dead, and it can't fix the problem involving Enma. So, Goten and Trunks spend the movie fighting the endless masses of Hitler's zombie armies. (Satan is also dispatching zombies easily, but he's upset that there's no TV crew around to broadcast his exploits; he plans on calling in a report to the TV station later)Dai Kaiou suspends the Budoukai to let Pikkon and Goku run off to Enma's Gate House to resolve the problem. At first, they try to play with Janenba, until Goku starts getting mad. Unfortunately, Janenba can do transdimensional tricks, and it punches one way, only to have his fist appear elsewhere to blindside Goku. Pikkon is told by Grand Kai to try to free Enma (eventually, Pikkon realizes that by swearing and insulting people, he can make the magic crystal crack and flake off.) Janenba can also make copies of itself, as well as warping Goku so that the hero will appear in front of his own Kamehameha. Goku switches up to SSJ3 and pummels Janenba. The creature melts, only to turn into the next-stage version -- Changed Janenba. Janenba now uses a series of warp tricks ala "Total Recall", and trashes the SSJ3 Goku.Goku escapes deeper into Hell, first hiding in the Pool of Blood; then he gets rescued by the dead Vegeta. (Vegeta reminds Goku that only Vegeta has the right to destroy Goku.) Vegeta powers up to SSJ2, attacks Janenba, and also gets trashed. Vegeta's body flies towards the Mountain of Needles, and is caught by Goku. Goku tries to get Vegeta to do Fusion with him, but the Saiyan Prince would rather die first (Goku points out that Vegeta is already dead.) Vegeta's pride is tearing him up, and Janenba attacks the mountain, causing Goku to grab Vegeta's shoulder and teleporting them both to a safe zone. Vegeta relents, and Goku shows him the Fusion pose. Vegeta is appalled at the idea of having to do something so stupid. But, there is no time left, so the two of them perform Fusion Waza (Fusion Dance).Vegeta forgets to extend his right forefinger, and the resulting Fat Gogeta attracts Janenba's attention. The ensuing battle is plain slapstick (Fat Gogeta's only successful attack is a series of foul-smelling farts.) At the last moment, just as Janenba is going to destroy Fat Gogeta, the Fusion wears off (it took 30 minutes) and the two Saiyans run away again. Kai (North Kai was receiving a lot of abuse from his siblings for having such a useless student) telepaths out that Vegeta botched the pose. So, they try again. And are interrupted by Janenba. Pikkon succeeds in breaking the magic crystal, and he runs to confront Janenba to give Goku and Vegeta more time. Janeba apparently True Gogeta looks a lot like Super Saiyan Goku, with a Persian-style vest and baggy pants. On Earth, Goten and Trunks sense the energy levels of their fathers, and the two boys also do Fusion to become Gotenks (Gotenks uses Kamikaze Ghost Attack to create 100 exploding ghosts to destroy Hitler's armies.) Gogeta punches Janenba up a bit before hitting the monster with a special energy ball. The ball blows up in the monster's chest, and all of the evil within it dissipates. Psych returns to normal, takes one look at Gogeta, and runs away screaming.Enma is back in charge, and the dead all return to Hell (including Vegeta. Vegeta says that he never wants to Fuse again) Goten and Trunks promise each other to not tell Gohan and Videl who it was that saved them all; Gohan and Vidal chase the boys to get answers from them.In the last panel, Shenron asks if this means that no one is going to ask him for a wish.
Characters

Pikkon -- A "Frog". A good-guy fighter created for the TV series to kill time. Ignorable.
Psych Oni -- Probably means "Psychedelic", or "work". A teenaged red-skinned demon boy who tends the Spritz Cleaner. Wears a skull jacket, striped pants, and a walkman.
Janenba -- Probably means "a place of evil." At first, this is a big yellow goofball that hurts stuff for fun. After its transformation, it becomes a human-sized Lucifer-type Master of Hell. Uses magic, and a magical sword. Created when Psych was dowsed with concentrated evil. After Gogeta defeats it, Psych recovers, and runs away to disappear from sight forever.

(Movie 13)(07/15/95)

A long time ago, a group of evil magicians brought a huge, skull-faced demon Hirudegarn to life to terrorize their planet. The demon could only be controlled by two gourd whistles and a legendary sword. Taipon and his little brother, Minosha, had used the gourd whistles to play a song that calmed Hirudegarn long enough for the demon to be cut in two, and trapped within the bodies of the two brothers. Taipon was sealed in a music box and shot out into space....It's a busy day in Satan City for the crimefighting team Great Saiyaman (Gohan is Saiyaman 1, and Videl is Saiyaman 2) when they get a call that a crazy old man is trying to commit suicide by jumping from a tower. The old man, Hoi, is rescued, and he shows Gohan a box that can't be opened. The boy tries to turn the crank, but can't. The box is given to Bulma, but her science toys can't see inside it. So, the Z Fighters round up the Dragon Balls and ask Shenron to make the box open. This happens, and Taipon steps out playing the legendary tune.Minosha, who used to look just like young Trunks but with red hair, was killed long ago, and his half of the demon starts stalking Satan city and trashes it. But Gohan attacks it with fireballs, and the creature disappears.Taipon escapes to a deserted factory plant, and is followed by Trunks (Trunks keeps bringing food to Taipon, but Taipon keeps chasing him away.) When Taipon falls asleep, his half of the demon tries to escape from his body, but is then recaptured when Taipon wakes up again. Eventually, Taipon is befriended, and he explains everything to Bulma. Bulma tries to make a demon-capturing bedroom, but Hoi is using his own magic to awaken Hirudedarn. Taipon's half of the demon escapes Bulma's trap and becomes whole again. The Z Fighters help trash the city in their attempt to defeat the demon, and Goten and Trunks use Fusion to become Gotenks (but, Gotenks' energy attacks cause the demon to go into a cocoon phase before emerging as a giant WINGED demon.) The Z Fighters get mulched, Taipon tries to use his whistle, but it shatters. Trunks tries to use Taipon's sword on the demon, but Goku switches to Super Saiyan 3, and announces that Hirudegarn is HIS to defeat. Goku pulls out a Super Punch with a golden dragon surrounding it (Ryuuken), and destroys the demon.Afterwards, Bulma makes a time machine to return Taipon to the time when the boy had been shot into space, and Taipon gives the sword to Trunks (there by explaining how future Trunks came by the sword that had been used to carve up Frieza and Frieza's Father in the anime)

(Movie 14) Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods (March 30 2013)

Doragon Bōru Zetto: Kami to Kami

Whis wakes Beerus, the God of Destruction , from his long slumber and tells him that Freeza was defeated by a Saiyan. Thirty-nine years earlier, the Yogen-gyo foretold that a mighty opponent would appear before Beerus, the Super Saiyan God. Beerus, with Whis, then tracks down the Saiyan warrior Goku, who defeated Freeza. On Kaiō-sama's planet, Goku proceeds to challenge Beerus, but ultimately is overwhelmed and defeated in two strikes; despite having powered up to Super Saiyan 3. Disappointed by the subsequent lack of challenge, Beerus departs in order to seek out more powerful adversaries on Earth.
Beerus' arrival interrupts Bulma's birthday party. Vegeta, who already knew about Beerus, because of a warning from Kaiō-sama, casts his pride aside in order to put Beerus in a good mood. Meanwhile, Pilaf, Mai, and Shu sneak into the party in order to steal the Dragon Balls, but are not recognized as they have been turned into children; before the events of the film, they gathered all the Dragon Balls themselves and wished for youth, but Shenlong made them a little too young. Discovering the three of them, Trunks mistakes Pilaf for a monkey and fibs to Goten that Mai is his girlfriend, which leads to the trio being brought in front of the party-goers. When Mai accidentally drops the Dragon Ball she stole, she takes Trunks hostage, but no one seems concerned. A drunk Gohan dares Mai to shoot him; he deflects the bullets with one finger, but one of them hits Videl's leg and another one hits Beerus' forehead. Dende heals Videl and discovers that she is pregnant with Gohan's child. Videl has been hiding the fact to surprise Gohan later and they do not reveal it to the others yet. When Beerus asks Mr. Boo for one or two of the puddings he has, Boo eats all of them, angering the God of Destruction who decides to destroy the Earth. Boo, Android 18, Tenshinhan and Piccolo attempt to fight Beerus, but are easily defeated. Gohan powers up and attacks Beerus only to be taken down by a heavy kick. Vegeta tries his hand at defeating Beerus, but he is also taken down. Goten and Trunks fuse into Gotenks and attempt to fight Beerus but are quickly defeated as well.
Bulma becomes annoyed at the fighting ruining her birthday party and yells at Beerus before slapping him. When Beerus slaps her back, it sends Vegeta into a fit of rage, becoming even stronger than Goku, however, he is still defeated. Goku appears, having been watching Vegeta's fight and summons Shenlong to ask what a Super Saiyan God is. A Super Saiyan God once appeared on planet Vegeta to stop evil Saiyans, but failed because of the form's time limit. The dragon also reveals that they need the power of six pure-hearted Saiyans for one of them to reach the Super Saiyan God form. Goku transforms into a Super Saiyan God, a form far stronger than even the Super Saiyan 3, thanks to the power of himself, Vegeta, Gohan, Trunks, Goten, and Pan (from inside her mother Videl), fulfilling the prophecy once stated by the Oracle Fish. Goku confronts Beerus again and they wage an intense battle in space, right above planet Earth. The form gives Goku the power to resist Beerus, but he reverts to his regular Super Saiyan form due to its time limit. However, he learns the form's godlike feeling, which allows him to use some amount of Super Saiyan God power against Beerus. The two seem to be equally strong, but Beerus eventually decides to use his strongest attack. Goku stops the energy sphere, barely holding it back, but after Chi-Chi and Goku's friends appear in Goku's mind he is able to absorb the energy sphere and briefly transform into a Super Saiyan God once again. However, Goku is overwhelmed with exhaustion, and at Beerus' suggestion, finally admits defeat. Beerus recognizes Goku's effort and reveals that he was the second strongest person he had ever fought, after Whis, who is also his martial arts master and is even stronger than he is. Back on Earth, Beerus decides to spare the planet and takes his leave with Whis after bidding farewell to Goku and his friends, who return to Bulma's birthday party. It is revealed by Whis that Beerus only used 70% of his power while fighting Goku.

Characters

Beerus: Beerus, the God of Destruction is a supporting character who appears as both an antagonist and protagonist in the fourteenth and fifteenth Dragon Ball Z movies, as well as in Dragon Ball Super. Involved in events previously left unexplained, preceding the events depicted in the manga, Beerus is revealed to be the one who sealed Old Kaiō-shin into the Z Sword and destroyed North Kaiō's planet, with only the small planet where he now lives remaining, both acts being out of anger over squabbles. He is a purple catlike being seen wearing traditional Egyptian clothing and ornaments, whose occupation is to maintain balance by destroying planets, in contrast to the Kaiō-shin who create and preserve them. Often seen destroying planets at a whim, Beerus' two sole desires are, being quite a gourmet, enjoying the Universe's finest cooking and fighting opponents who he considers to be worthy. The latter ultimately leads him to look for the Super Saiyan God who turns out to be one of the Saiyans now living on Earth. Eventually, Son Goku, with the help of other Saiyans, transforms into the Super Saiyan God and fights Beerus, just to be defeated by the God of Destruction. Having enjoyed the match, Beerus spares both Goku and the Earth, saying that Goku was the second strongest opponent he ever faced; first being his caretaker and martial arts teacher, Whis. Beerus was modeled after Toriyama's Cornish Rex cat.

Whis:Whis is a supporting character who appears in the fourteenth and fifteenth Dragon Ball Z movies, as well as in Dragon Ball Super. A tall teal humanoid with pronounced effeminate features, Whis is Beerus' attendant and martial arts master who always accompanies the God of Destruction wherever he goes. He is unmatched in power and possesses tremendous speed. In the fifteenth movie, Whis is seen training Goku and Vegeta for the fight against the resurrected Freeza; effortlessly defending himself against the two. The original author, Akira Toriyama, stated that Whis is currently the most powerful character in the Dragon Ball universe. The character's name stems from a misunderstanding. Toriyama incorrectly believed that Beerus' name was a pun on the word "beer" and so decided to follow the same rule to name the character's assistant. Thus, he ended up naming the character Whis, a pun on "whisky".

Yogen-gyo (Seer): The Oracle Fish is a sapient blue fish that has prophetic powers.

Policewoman: one of many police forces found in Dragon Ball universe.

Sushi Chef: a chef in Dragon Ball universe.

(Movie 15) Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection 'F' (April 18, 2015)

Doragon Bōru Zetto: Fukkatsu no 'Efu'

The remnants of Frieza's army, led by an alien named Sorbet head to Earth where they convince Pilaf, Mai, and Shu, who have collected the Dragon Balls, to summon the wish-granting dragon Shenron. Sorbet makes a wish to revive Frieza, but Shenron can only bring him back to life in the form of the pieces that Future Trunks cut up, which Sorbet's minions reassemble using their advanced technology over the following two months. Once restored, Frieza plans revenge against the Super Saiyans, but upon learning that Goku has gotten stronger to the point of defeating Majin Buu, he postpones the invasion so he can train himself for the first time in his life.
Jaco the Galactic Patrolman travels to Earth to warn Bulma that Frieza is approaching, and she gathers five of the Z fighters. With Goku and Vegeta training with Whis on planet that houses Beerus, the God of Destruction, unaware that Frieza has been revived, Gohan, Piccolo, Krillin, Master Roshi, Tien Shinhan and Jaco fight off Frieza's soldiers. But the five Z warriors are unable to beat Frieza, even with Gohan in Super Saiyan mode.
Bulma is finally able to reach Whis; Goku and Vegeta return to Earth to face Frieza. Whis and Beerus join them in order to eat a strawberry sundae Bulma has prepared for them; neither of the two care about the outcome of the battle. Despite powering up to Final Form, Frieza is unable to defeat Goku, but the latter deduces that he is holding back. The two then agree to fight at full power, with Goku transforming into a glowing-blue aura form called Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan, and Frieza evolving into his new gold-plated form "Golden Frieza". Frieza is finally able to gain the upper hand, however Goku and Vegeta soon realize Frieza's greatest weakness: that his golden form drains his powers quickly.
Goku turns the tables, beating down Frieza. He gives him the chance to leave, but is shot in the heart by Sorbet's ray gun. Frieza stands over the incapacitated Goku and offers Vegeta a chance to kill Goku and to command his future army, but Vegeta refuses, transforming into a Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan form. When Krillin tries to revive Goku with a Senzu bean, Frieza attacks him but Vegeta deflects the shot, which kills Sorbet. Vegeta is about to kill the weakened Frieza, but Frieza shoots a blast into the Earth, destroying it and Vegeta. Goku, Whis, Beerus and the Z fighters are left in a small piece of rock in space where they lament the loss of the planet; Goku regrets not killing Frieza when he had the chance. Whis remarks he can turn back time up to three minutes and, after doing so, Goku destroys Frieza with a Kamehameha.
In the aftermath, as the characters say their goodbyes to Beerus and Whis, Goku and Vegeta discuss the assertion by Whis that, if the two of them were to team up, opponents like Frieza would not have a chance to knock them out. Vegeta replies he would rather die than go through that again. Goku agrees and laughs as Vegeta smiles and remarks that it is about time they finally agree on something.
In a post-credits scene, Frieza returns to Hell, and to his dismay is welcomed back.

Specials

Dragonball Z Special: The History of Trunks
This movie special is based on the alter world that would have taken place if Trunks had not come from the future and given Goku the heart medicine. It starts off with Gohan racing towards his house. All the Z fighters are there, as it appears Goku is very sick. As Gohan arrives, Goku dies. Everyone, including Vegeta, is very upset over the death of Goku. Life continues peacefully for about six months, until a pair of androids wreck havoc on the world. The Z warriors rush over to stop them, but Piccolo, Yamcha, Tien, Vegeta, Chiaotzu, and Krillin all perish at the hands of the androids. Only Gohan was able to escape (In the alter world, this event causes Gohan to go Super Saiya-jin).
Thirteen years later, the earth has become a literal hell to live on. The androids, called #17 (guy android) and #18 (girl android), continue to destroy city after city all in good fun. They have absolutely no compassion towards the humans and kill them at will. They arrive at a peaceful city and torment its inhabitants. They give them ten seconds to start running, and then they blow the city up with a simple blast. Pepper Town is no more.
Everyone is trying to deal with the stress of the robots in their own way. Roshi, Oolong, Turtle, and Puar have moved into a submarine and live off the coast of Kame Island. Roshi would love to try and fight the androids, but Oolong reminds him he doesn’t stand a chance since they even beat Vegeta with ease. Roshi wishes Goku had never died.
The androids do not seem to have a care in the world. #18 decides she wants to go shopping and stocks up on new clothes. #17 then destroys the store, angering 18. She reminds him not to blow up any more clothes shops.
Bulma appears next, driving down the highway with Trunks, now in his teens. They are both upset about Pepper Town’s destruction. She reveals that these androids destroyed their creator, Dr. Gero. Trunks asks his mom to pull over and he jumps out, ready to take on the androids. #17 and #18 continue to ravage the city, finally annihilating it. Trunks arrives and is horrified by the site. Low and behold, a grown up Gohan appears to Trunks’ delight. Back at Bulma’s, Trunks, in tears, tells Gohan he can no longer sit back and wants Gohan to train him. Gohan sees a young version of himself in Trunks and agrees. After a dinner with Gohan, Bulma is reminded of Goku just by the appearance and eating habits of Gohan (dresses and eats the exact same). She says Trunks idolizes Gohan and wishes Gohan would tell him not to fight. But, the training for Trunks begins immediately, similar to the training Piccolo gave Gohan, with no remorse or help at times. Chi-Chi has a brief seen with her father, Ox King. Ox King tells her that Gohan is training Trunks to fight the androids. She just wishes Gohan had become a scholar and wants his safe return. The next phase in Trunks’ training is turning him Super Saiya-jin. Gohan explains that the power to turn comes from anger, but Trunks is still unable to change.
The androids have now found an operating amusement park and start terrorizing the people. After enjoying a few rides, they are interrupted by the arrival of the two remaining Z fighters. A battle ensues, with Gohan squaring off with #17. He appears to have gained the upper hand until #18 steps in. Both androids attack Gohan, causing Trunks to join the battle and challenge #18. He tries a flurry of punches, but is unsuccessful. After taking a punch from #18, he counterattacks with a knee to her stomach. Enraged, she attacks the boy, and just as she is about to finish him off, Gohan is in for the save. #17 fires a blast at Gohan for a direct hit. Gohan is still able to grab Trunks but takes another blast from #18. He tries to get some cover from some remaining walls, but the androids blow up the entire amusement park. The robots then fly off, leaving Gohan and Trunks for dead. Gohan begins to crawl over to Trunks, but Gohan is missing his left arm! He pulls out a senzu bean, but decides to give it to Trunks and then passes out. Trunks carries Gohan back to Bulma’s and she treats his wounds. After recovering, the training continues as Trunks tries hard to reach the Super Saiya-jin level. Just as the two take a break, another explosion is seen in the distance. Gohan powers up to go fight, but Trunks wants to go as well. After a brief argument, Gohan agrees, but instead knocks out Trunks (he says Trunks is the last hope for Earth). #17 and #18 are relentless in their goal to destroy the human race as they destroy another city. Out of nowhere, Gohan kicks #17 in the head and sends him flying. #17 knew Gohan was still alive and, together with #18, will now finish him off. Gohan and the robots seem to be evenly matched, but after a vicious double team, Gohan is killed.
Trunks revives but can’t feel his friend’s power level anymore. He quickly flies to the city in search of his master. He spots Gohan’s body and quickly lands. In tears, he walks up to the fallen Gohan and embraces him. His rage consumes him, and with a scream in anger and sadness, Trunks finally turns Super Saiya-jin.
Three years then pass by since the death of Gohan. Trunks is now 16. Bulma has built a time machine that can send Trunks back 20 years so he can alert the Z fighters of the past. Trunks strongly believes he is powerful enough to beat the robots, and after hearing news of their arrival in a neighboring town, he flies off to fight, armed with his sword. Again, the robots destroy the city. A fight starts with #18, and she has the upper hand. Trunks pulls out his sword and swings wildly at her, cutting some of her hair. #17 steps in but is almost stabbed in the head. Trunks keeps firing back, sending a huge energy blast that he thinks have taken out the androids. However, they are still alive. Trunks gives everything he has and drains all his energy. The robots begin toying with him, but he refuses to give up. Trunks asks why they are doing this, and they reply that either they were programmed to take over the world or they were just killing humans for fun. Trunks tries one last surge, but is basically knocked around like a ping-pong ball. #18 then fires a massive blast at him, then they leave him for dead. Trunks somehow survives and is next seen back home in bed covered in bandages. He had been in a coma for 5 days. He decides to use the time machine. Bulma has an antidote for Goku’s strange heart condition that killed him, and gives the vial to Trunks for the delivery to Goku. Bulma reassures him that if Goku were alive, none of this would have ever happened. Trunks looks forward to meeting him as well as his father, Vegeta. With HOPE written on the machine, the mother and son say their goodbyes and Trunks flies into the past

Dragonball Z Special: Bardock Summary

A boy has been born on the planet Vegeta. After inspecting the baby, the son of Bardock named Kakarotto, the doctors decide he is a low-class fighter and will be sent to another planet. They place the crying baby in an incubator to keep it warm.
On Planet Kanassa, a full moon is seen high in the sky, and the Oozaru Saiya-jins are wrecking havoc. One of the Oozaru takes a blast that nicks his face, but he just turns around and blasts the creature away. In the morning, it appears that all the people of Kanassa have been destroyed, and the Saiya-jins are resting after their night of battle. One of them mentions to Bardock that his son has been born, but Bardock doesn’t seem to care since he is a low-class fighter. As they talk about their boss, Frieza, an inhabitant of Kanassa appears from the ground and kicks Bardock in the back of the head. Another Saiya-jin blasts the creature, but it gets up glowing. It tells Bardock that he just gave him the power to see into the future, and the Saiya-jin race is doomed. Bardock then finishes him off. Bardock then passes out.
Back on Planet Vegeta, Prince Vegeta, who is still a child, is training with the Saibamen and easily defeats five of them. After his training, he begins complaining of how he will never get stronger while he is stuck on the planet. He decides he will ask Frieza to send him to the next planet he wants conquered. Frieza receives word from Zarbon that Planet Kanassa has been occupied. Zarbon says the planet was conquered a month early by a bunch of low-class warriors. However, Zarbon thinks that if the Saiya-jins would ever bond together, it could be a nuisance. Frieza seems to agree. Vegeta walks into his chamber and says he is going to the next planet to occupy it. Zarbon lectures the boy, saying Vegeta will go to the planet he is assigned to. Frieza, however, decides it is okay for Vegeta to go to the next planet and tells him to do a good job.
Bardock has been placed into a healing chamber due to his battle on Kanassa. The doctors are surprised at how powerful he is becoming, even though he is a low-class fighter, placing his power level at 10,000. They also say he is fine physically, but there has been a change in his brainwaves. The other Saiya-jins decide to leave Bardock behind on the next mission to Planet Meet. During a dream, Bardock sees his crying son. However, he also sees a disturbing image of Planet Vegeta exploding. Then he sees the life of his son again as the boy grows into the man known as Goku. Bardock then wakes up and is released from the chamber. He finds out that the others already left for Meet, so he decides to join them. As he runs for his pod, he passes the room where the babies are and for the first time sees his son. He again sees the vision of his planet’s doom, and then scans the power level of Kakarotto, a level of 2. Disgusted, he runs off.
On Meet, Dodoria, Frieza’s henchman, and his men easily beat up the Saiya-jins to send a message that the Saiya-jin race is an eyesore. The Saiya-jins want to know why he feels this way after they have served him for so long, but Dodoria refuses to listen. Bardock arrives and sees the corpses of the inhabitants of Meet. He thinks his men did this, and he picks up large powers on his scouter. Much to his surprise, all of his men are down and dying. One of them, Toma, tells Bardock of Frieza’s betrayal. Toma tells Bardock to go back to Vegeta and gather the Saiya-jins to destroy Frieza, and then dies. Bardock takes a white bandana off Toma’s arm and wipes the blood from his fallen friend’s face. The rag turns blood red. Bardock then discovers the men that did this and, after tying the blood soaked rag around his head, attacks them. He quickly defeats two of the men, and just when he is about to attack again, he sees a vision of Kakarotto fighting Vegeta in the future. The other two get the upper hand on Bardock as he can’t shake the images of his son. One grabs him from behind, but as the other throws a punch, Bardock flips over, causing his opponent to kill his own partner. Then, Bardock finishes off the fourth fighter. Now, Dodoria is ready to take on the Saiya-jin. He shoots a tremendous blast at Bardock from his mouth and thinks he finishes him off. He is then summoned back to Vegeta.
Back on Vegeta, the babies are being loaded into pods to be sent to different planets, including Kakarotto. Dodoria arrives in Frieza’s chamber and learns he did not kill Bardock. Frieza tells him not to worry about it. In his pod, Bardock sees Frieza’s spaceship, and then a pod comes roaring past him. Inside that pod was Kakarotto. Bardock lands on Vegeta and learns about Kakarotto being sent to Earth. Bardock realizes that the visions he sees are true and Planet Vegeta is in trouble. He rushes into the station and passes out. Again he sees the images of his son growing up on Earth and then Frieza.
He wakes up immediately and heads deeper inside his headquarters. He ends up inside the cafeteria and alerts the others of what had happened, but they simply just laugh at him. He tells all of them to go to hell. Once more, he sees a full-grown version of his son, and then rushes up some stairs into a tower. From the tower, he decides he will change the future and rushes toward Frieza’a ship. As he gets closer, hundreds of Frieza’s fighters attack him, but he is able to bulldoze through all of them. He yells for Frieza to face him, and Frieza emerges from the ship. All of Frieza’s men look on in terror of their master as Bardock powers up. Bardock says he will change Vegeta’s destiny, the Saiya-jins’ destiny, his son’s destiny, and Frieza’s destiny. As Frieza begins to power up, Bardock sends a huge energy blast toward Frieza. Frieza just laughs and absorbs the energy ball into one of his own and flicks it toward Planet Vegeta. The huge ball takes out all of his men, and Bardock for the last time has a vision of his adult son. He screams “Kakarotto” as the ball hits him. Once the ball touches the surface of Vegeta, the whole planet explodes, much to Frieza’s delight.
The baby Kakarotto is shown and it seems Bardock is talking to him inside his head. He tells his son to finish his mission and get revenge for the Saiya-jin race and the destruction of their home planet, Vegeta. The space pod then races on as Bardock’s headband floats away. Vegeta is informed about the destruction of his planet and doesn’t seem to care, as he has already cleared the planet he was sent to. In the meantime, Kakarotto has landed on Earth and is discovered by an old man named Gohan. He decides to take care of the baby and names him Goku. This begins the story of Drangonball....
